  • Exporting regression results to a Word document

    Hi all,

I'll be very happy if you can help me.
I'm trying to export the results of multiple regression models and I can't figure out how to do it.
I used to know how to, but I forgot and it's driving me mad.
In the attached picture you can see a table I generated using Stata in the past.

The main problem is I can't download and install any packages for this computer, it's the computer of the national bureau of statistics and I cannot download anything.

I already tried outreg2, outreg , estout and esttab , but the Stata here doesn't recognize those commands.
Any idea for a different command that can do the work?

    Thank you,
    Stav

The above table can be generated using the nest option of asdoc program which can be downloaded from SSC. If installation from SSC is not possible, that might be (i) a problem of either download restriction on your computer (ii) or limited permission to write files to your computer. If the earlier is true while you can make folders and copy files to your system, you can manually download the files from my site, create the following directories and copy the relevant files to these directories.

    * Copy the following two files to C:/ado/plus/a
    http://fintechprofessor.com/asdoc.ado
    http://fintechprofessor.com/asdoc.sthlp

    * Copy the following file to C:/ado/plus/l
    http://fintechprofessor.com/lasdoc.mlib

For creating the above table, you can read the help file of asdoc, Section 4.2 or watch this YouTube video

Check out my asdoc program, which sends outputs to MS Word.
For more flexibility, consider using asdocx which can send Stata outputs to MS Word, Excel, LaTeX, or HTML.
