  • How interprent results of Heckman two step model?

    Hello guys,
I want to evaluate the impact of small scale irrigation on farm households income, which is a continuous variable. I used Heckman two-step selection model . My dependent variable in the outcome model is household income. My dependent variable in the selection model binary. I face difficulty to interpret the results of the model including interpretation of lamda, rho and sigma. Is there a need to undertake post-estimation once I run the heckman model. If so, how can I manage post-estimation? I attached the results of the heckman two step model here.

You didn't get a quick answer. You'll increase your chances of a useful answer by following the FAQ on asking questions - provide Stata code in code delimiters, readable Stata output, and sample data using dataex. Also, do not attach files or use pictures. Many of us will not open files, and we can't do much with pictures.

Read the documentation on heckman and heckman postestimation provided with Stata. One issue is whether selection matters or if you can ignore it.
