  • Rspread and subsetting Gini Coefficients in a Vector

    Hello,

    I am interested in using estimated Gini coefficients each generated by the rspread command for 30 variables (that also generates 7 other measures of dispersion) in other operations. I would like to subset the gini coefficients output from the rspread command for each of those 30 variables in a 30 x 1 vector. Please advise.

    Many thanks for your help,

    Shalini Sharma

    I published this in the STB in 1995; it doesn't look like I save the Gini coefficient saved results section;

    I strongly recommend using a more modern program - there are several; you can use -search- to find and download; here are some examples:
    Code:
    lorenz
    pshare
    sgini
    ineqdeco
    you can see a longer list by typing the following at the command line
    Code:
    hsearch gini

      Thank you,

      Yes- that's right- there are no saved results.

      Searching as suggested while I type this. Thanks again.
