Do file paths from windows to Mac.

Hello, everyone.

My office has replaced my old computer to a Mac one, but all my do files are written in a windows system.
Is there any fast and easy way to replace the paths so stata recognizes it when I am working on a windows system or a Mac system?

You didn't get a quick response. You'll increase your chances of a useful answer by following the FAQ on asking questions - provide Stata code in code delimiters, readable Stata output, and sample data using dataex.

I can't help you with your substantive problem - I don't use Macs. I suppose if you could get Stata to tell you the operating system, you could write an if condition to run the right path statement, but I don't know how to get Stata to do that. You might be able to do it with shell or with userwritten routines like confirmdir or windowsmonitor. This may be a case where it is faster to do things manually unless you're going to move back and forth between the operating systems.
