  • Two-Way Graph using Regression Data

    Hello all,

I've been trying for several days to have Stata output a graph that can show two things simultaneously:

    1. An average/proportion of a variable, delineated by age group, as a bar graph
    2. A regression output and confidence intervals, again by age group, as plot points with attached confidence intervals.

I'm working with a panel that lists outcomes for individuals in two separate years. I would like the regression output and confidence intervals to be placed on top of the average/proportion in the same graph. So far I've only been able to make them work individually, and in the case of the regression points, I could not get it to display the ages of the groups. I've tried using both 'twoway' and 'coefplot', as well as simply merging the graphs, but I haven't managed to get anything close to what I'm looking for.

Does anyone have some insight into what the best route would be to make this work?

    Thanks,

    Benjamin Busser
