Hello,
I am trying to plot some graphs in Stata (yup no capitals this time
).
I plotted a graph for 13 years by method specific suicide rates which was fine as there was one point for each year (various states in the country but one age-standardized rate for each method for the whole country for each year). But when I try to plot the same graph for age-specific rates, it does not work, probably because there are 4 points (4 specific age-groups) for each year now. Should I use the tsline command?
Oh and things will become much more complicated I am guessing when I try to plot them by each state so that I can show which states (for example more or less developed; binary variable in which either a state is or is not developed) have higher rates of suicide by specific suicide methods. For that I will have different method specific rates for each state.
