Opening an old dataset

Hi,

I'm using Stata 14 and need to open a Stata 9 dataset. Is there a way to do this?

Just open it in the usual way, with the -use- command. All versions of Stata can read all older versions of Stata data sets. It doesn't work the other way: if you were running Stata 9 and needed to open a Stata 14 data set you would have difficulty.
