  • Nomocox

    Hi everyone,

I am working on a survival analysis research project and would like to create a nomogram based on the results of a Cox PH model. After a bit of online search, I have come across a Stata package called "nomocox".
Nevertheless, I have not managed to find it neither on SSC or Stata Journal and the developer of the package is not responsive via email.
I was wondering if there is another way to do this in Stata or if some fellow statalister has access to the aforementioned package.
    I am using Stata 14.2.

    Thanks in advance.

    See:
Zlotnik A, Abraira V. A general-purpose nomogram generator for predictive logistic regression models. Stata Journal. 2015. Volume 15, Number 2.
    and

    Code:
    search nomogram
    Good luck.

Nomocox has a support page and is a variation of the Stata package called nomolog, which can be found from within Stata using:
      Code:
      findit nomolog
It is a very interesting and useful set of tools.
It was presented at the 2014 Spanish Stata Conference and ii's PPT is downloadable from here.
An open access paper, discussing the development of a nomogram using nomolog, can be found here.

Thank you both for the informative replies.

I have gone through dr. Zlotkin's website, but it's only "nomolog" that's available through Stata Journal. Nomocox is identified as currently "in beta" and the author encourages interested readers to contact him directly for a copy. Unfortunately, the email provided is not valid at present.
I was thus wondering if another member had a copy of nomocox. I could try R but was hoping to keep all of my workflow in Stata.

              Dears,
I was able to install the package nomolog and generate nomogram with this tool.
However, I'm not able to install the package nomocox, since it is not recognized by Stata (IC/16.0).
              If I write the command:

              - help nomocox

then the software doesn't find any package. I've also checked on the Zlotnik website, but there are not solutions to this problem.

Is there a way to fix this problem and install nomocox on my Stata??

http://www.zlotnik.net/stata/nomograms/index.htm invites you to contact the author to get a copy of this program.

                      Dear Stata community,
I am also trying to generate a nomogram using the Stata package Nomocox. Unfortunately I am not able to get it, wherefore I would kindly ask, if someone of the community can help me and send a copy of it?
                      Many thanks in advance!
