Hi all,
I would like to calculate effect size for a 2X2 interaction in a between-subjects design ( group: cb, hc; gender: male, female) and I have been asked to use cohen's d. Can Cohen's d be computed for an interaction? If so, how?
I have margins and SE of each term:

I found this formula on-line: d=((a1−b1)−(a2−b2))/2σ, where σ is the RMSE
https://stats.stackexchange.com/ques...google_rich_qa
Do you think I could use this one? If yes, how can I calculate 2σ from the st. err. of each term (hc f, hc m, cb f, cb m)?
Do you know a better (and perhaps faster) way to estimate cohen's d for a 2x2 interaction?
Thanks for your help
Gloria
