  • Interval tests & Probabilities

    Dear Statalist,
When I try to conduct interval testing using Bayesian analysis in Stata 15, I run into some problems with my categorical variables. Whether I place the upper bounds at 0 or 1, Stata always returns an interval test of 0 or 1. Here is an example of an interval test I tried to run for a categorical variable called worry_energy with my dependent variable called DV2_energyuse.
Would anyone have any suggestions for what I could be doing wrong?

You'll increase your chances of a useful answer by following the FAQ on asking questions - provide Stata code in code delimiters, readable Stata output (fixed spacing fonts help), and data using dataex. Many also don't like screen shots or attached files.

I don't do bayesian work so I can't help you with the specific problem.
