Replace values for missing data

Hi everyone. It is my first time I use this forum.
I am working on a dataset and I have a question. I would like to replace missing values with the value of the observation above.
The problem is that I have a lot of missings. Can I run a loop?

My variable of interest is "region", and I want that the missing is replaced with the region of the observations above.
