  • Interpreting Brant Test output: what does -371.91 in the chi2 column mean?

    Hello stata community,
I am testing the parallel lines assumption using the Brant Test. The column in chi2 shows the value -371.91. while the likelihood ratio value is 3.26. what does it mean? Because I read that the brant chi2 value and Ir chi2 value ought to be approximately similar. thank you

Any help would be much appreciated.

Please show your commands and output, including the estimation command before you ran brant. Use code tags. See point #12 of the FAQ.

Also make sure you have the most current version of brant. There are some old versions around.

    Code:
    . which brant
    c:\ado\plus\b\brant.ado
