I show in #10 how to produce subsets for a list of countries using a shapefile of the world and your takeaway is that you need to download a shapefile for each country? You need to invest more time understanding what I posted.

My bad. You are right. It worked. I just made some confusion by looking at the threat #18 in the parallel post, since it is referring to datasets constructed in threats #10, #13 and #17, while obviously the last dataset was constructed in threat #15. By the way, thanks a lot for your explanations. It worked perfectly.

Hello! I am working on my Mphil thesis titled as" Role of climate variation on bilateral migration in the gravity framework" for the period 2000 through 2017. For the climate variable i will be using data provided by Willmott, Matsuura and Collaborators' Global Climate. For temperature and precipitation annual data for all countries of the world i will be utilizing http://climate.geog.udel.edu/~climat...oad.html#T2017 and http://climate.geog.udel.edu/~climat...oad.html#P2017.
I need help regarding the data that is provided but i want to use it as panel data for all countries but the data is not like that in the links given above. I will appreciate if anyone guide me how to form the data for all countries over the period 2000 through 2017.
