  • Analysis of variance: ANOVA with Post Hoc test

    Hello everyone,

I want to perform ANOVA with post hoc test. Here in the data example shows first five variables are my dependent variables and last five are my independent variables. Down below it shows all the groups. I will be glad if someone can tell me how to perform ANOVA with post hoc test on this data. Thanks

    Welcome to the Stata Forum/Statalist,

I appreciate very much that you used the correct approach to share data.

That said, if you have more than one dependent variable, ANOVA won’t do fine.

I believe you need MANOVA. Please keep an eye on the assumptions for this test as well, and be prepared for a large output.

    Hopefully that helps.
    Best regards,

    Marcos

You may start by typing - help manova - in Stata’s Command Window.

There you’ll find examples, assumptions, interpretation, etc.

Please take a careful look at the MANOVA and check the whether it fits well in your study question.
        Best regards,

        Marcos
