  • New svy features only available with Stata15?

    Dear all,

I have just a quick question concerning new features in Stata.
I read, see also the added manual file from Stata, that there are new svy features (especially interesting for me is the calibration).
I'm using Stata 14 and already updated my version and looked for the new features but could not find them.
So, is it possible that they are only available with Stata 15? Any other clues?

    Thank you in advance,
    Melissa

New features from a new version of Stata are typically only available in that new version of Stata. If that were not the case, why would anyone buy the new version?

If you cannot upgrade to Stata 15 then you can look at the user written command survwgt, and in particular survwgt rake. You can get that by typing in Stata ssc install survwgt.
