STATA do file screen turns into black after executing "Find" command- need help

I have opened my old dofile in do file editor and clicked EDIT, then clicked FIND and on the spacebar I typed the word I want find -geolevel1. after I hit ENTER whole screen turns into black colour. Canot see my syntax. No scrolling possible. This do file I generated in a Apple mac computer with Sierra" OS system. Now I use another machine. Can some one help me. Jayalal

The problem is due to a change in macOS that's been fixed in more recent versions of Stata. You can just update but you must contact Stata technical support if you're using Stata 13.
