  • Regression Confidence Intervals

I regressed dependent variable on 3 explanatory variables and received output below and now need to calculate 95% confidence interval for the parameter value beta 1 + beta 4. Is there anyway to do this via Stata or will I need to do manually?

beta1 + beta4??? Those don't appear anywhere in what you show. That said, assuming you are referring to some coefficients in your model, -help lincom-.

      My regression model is logq (dependent variable) = beta1 +beta2.logy + beta3.logp + beta4.logp2

I only need do confidence intervals for beta1 + beta4.logp2

Am I right to enter the command : lincom _cons + logp2 ?
