Support Vector Machine for a diagnostic clinical prediction rule

I have a developed a clinical prediction rule in logistic regression for a medical condition and want to see if support vector machine has better discrimination and calibration.
The data set has 540 subjects and 10 covariates. All diagnostic outcomes are simple binary.

Is there anyone facile with Stata Support Vector Machine who wants to help me with this project, and be a co-author?

If not, are there further examples of Stata code, in addition to Guenther and Schonlau's pdf, that I could gradually learn from?

I don’t remember the details at the moment, but someone has developed a Stata wrapper around the C libsvm library to fit support vector machine models in Stata. If you search for Stata and SVM on github I’m sure you’ll find the info on how to install/use their program.
