    Hi dear Statalists,

I am using ltable command to generate Kaplan-Meier life table. But the calculated survivals don't match with my calculations. I have copied the tables below.

In the first table, the 12-month survival should be: (65-17)/65 = 0.7385. What I am seeing in the calculated table is 0.6699.
In the second table, the 12-month survival should be: (65-11)/65 = 0.8308. What I am seeing in the calculated table is 0.7800.
In the third table, the 12-month survival should be: (65-3)/65 = 0.9538. What I am seeing in the calculated table is 0.9368.

I was wondering where the differences do come from? Am I using a wrong calculation method?

    Thank you in advance,

    Younes

See the Methods and Formulas section of the user's manual entry for ltable. You'd probably agree with Stata if you used the noadjust option.
