scheme entries, recast(connected) and xtitle()

I am trying to write a scheme file based off of s2color, but I am not sure what entry I can change for the following two effects I would like: (1) the option "recast(connected)" , and (2) the option xtitle("") , that is, having no xtitle. I did try looking at "help scheme entries".
