to put you in context, I have some studies that evaluated systolic blood pressure among non-bold and bald patients. The thing is they reported the mean value of the SBP in the non-bald group and the mean SBP of mild baldness, the mean SBP of moderate baldness and the mean SBP of severe baldness. I don't need to compare the SBP among categories, but just between bald vs no bald. For that, I need to pool the mean SBP of the mild, moderate and severe group within the same study. How can I do that? Here is the example:
