Convert csv or xlsb file to dta

Hi

May I check with you how a really big csv file or a xlsb file could be converted to a dta file? I was trying out the xls2dta command but it didn't quite work out.

I don't know how big is the data and whether there is a limit to import. I mean, also in the computer or in the number of variables (related to the flavour) or even the number of obsevations (in case of the flavour being Small Stata).

Additionally, I assume you're using Stata 14.2.

That said, you may wish to try:

. help import delimited
