Is there a way to make a bar in a bar graph have a fill pattern?

Does anybody know how to fill in the bars in a stacked bar graph with cross-hatches and the like (other patterns) to make the stata graphs more legible when printed in black and white? I have 8 different categories in each stacked bar and using just a greyscale makes it too difficult to read.

Asked here occasionally. The shortest answer is No, except insofar you can use graph7 or Sergiy Radyakin's stuff.

Yet another answer is not to stack at all. That's what I almost always do.
