Regression equation subscript

Hi there,

How would you suggesting writing a regression equation where the subscript i is a individual for some variables and a country for others? e.g. b3religiosity_i+b4beta_i+ . Religios is by country and beta by firm, should I use ii for the country variables instead?

I will assume that your observations are of individuals. in that case, I would use i for all your subscripts, and I would understand (and discuss, in my paper) that regligiosity_i is the religiosity of the country within which individual i resides, and beta_i is the beta of the firm with which individual i is associated.
