Hi,
I am using a panel dataset (N=237 and T=13).
vote is my dependent variable: 1 if the respondent voted in an annual leadership election, and 0 otherwise (so I am using nonlinear methods).
I wanted to interpret this table:
I read the example in the Stata manual (http://www.stata.com/manuals13/xtxttab.pdf) but I do not understand what is meant by "ever" - please could you explain this to me?
I understand the Overall column: 40.94% on average voted.
However, I am unclear of the meaning of the Between column: 81.43% were "ever" voters.
I am also unclear of the meaning of the Within column: 50.14% of those "ever" voters were always voters.
Thank you
