  • Source of Stata's "school" dataset

Does anyone know the source the dataset that is loaded by typing
    Code:
    webuse school
I tried typing "notes", but none were provided. I am interested in definitions of variables as well as the original source (if possible).

It's based on data examples from Pindyck and Rubinfeld, Econometric Models and Economic Forecasts, 1998, Fourth Edition .

Variables are whether children attend private school (private), number of children in public schools = 1 or 2 (PUB12) , 3 or 4 (PUB34) , or 5 or more (PUB5) , years at current house/residence (years), log of property taxes paid (logptax), log of income (loginc), whether individual voted increase in property taxes (vote) , and I think(?) the # of years of parent education logged (logeduc)
There's a variant of this dataset for SHAZAM here: http://www.econometrics.com/intro/school.htm
