Error message when updating

I was downloading the latest updates in Stata 14 when I got this error message. downloading documentation files ... unexpected end of file. Is there a fix?

This has happened to me a few times. Generally it has been due to a transient interruption in my internet connection. Occasionally it has happened without that. Anyway, when I just try again later it goes fine.

If the problem persists through several attempts, and your internet connection is working stably, then I would contact Stata technical support about this.

I am experiencing the same problem. "unexpected end of file " error when ugrading ( STATA version 14.2).
In the last 3 weeks I did the following:
1- Ugrading Windows 7 (successful)
2- change web connection (3 different connections tested).
3- Run an antivirus (Bitdefender 2017)
4- Change browser security and privacy settings.

I am actually without any new idea except formatting everithing and install all from scratch.
Everibody will understand why I am reluctant to engage in this attempt.
