  • Format pwcorr

    Hi everyone,

Is it possible to format how the number of observations is displayed with the command pwcorr ?
    Code:
    pwcorr niv_edu idioma monto, obs
    I get :

    Code:
                    niv_edu idioma monto

    niv_edu 1.0000
                    1.1e+05

    idioma 0.2013 1.0000
                    1.1e+05 1.1e+05

    monto 0.1576 0.0146 1.0000
                    13752 13749 13752
I would like to get 1.1e+05 as in 110 000. I know how to obtain the number of observations used in each cell of the matrix but I need it displayed in the table in a readable way.
    I appreciate your help.

You aren't going to like this answer.

    (a) I don't know a way to do what you want other than manual editing.

    (b) Your example makes me want pwcorr to go undocumented. I don't know how to think about a correlation matrix if some correlations are based on 10,000 or so measurements and some on 100,000 or so.

I appreciate that it may be hard to do better if the data come that way.
