underline text within textbox

Hi,

I'm using

text(20 15 "{ul:p=$p1}")

to put a textbox in a graph ($p1 is a global I saved before). The text is put in correctly as "p=.238", but without getting underlined. So the code is correct but it does not work completely. Why?

This was an issue on the old Statalist listserer at http://www.stata.com/statalist/archi.../msg01211.html. I believe underlining in graphics is still unavailable.
