  • Changes in Changes (CIC) by Athey and Imbens (2006)

    Hello,
I want to evaluate a program using the Changes in Changes (CIC) model. I find a code from online for CIC model.
I want help from somebody who can go with the program. Please let me know if anyone wants working with the CIC program.

Also, if you have any code for CIC model to explain the effect of a program, it will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

for those of us not in you (sub)discipline, it would be appreciated if, as per the FAQ, you provided a complete cite (not just authors and year) and tell us where you found the code you are talking about

      Thank you so much!

My discipline is Economics. We can use the data set from Wooldrige at http://fmwww.bc.edu/ec-p/data/wooldridge2k/INJURY.DES

The code is obtained from http://www.robgarlick.com/code

I really appreciate if somebody can help to learn this CIC methodology as a generalized version of DID.

      Again, thanks for your reply.

Not my field, but I note that you link to a do-file several hundred lines long and an article 67 pages long.

If the question is, in effect, teach me what I need to know to work in this field, then that's not a realistic question for Statalist.

On average, people give up a few minutes of their time to write a post.

If I am writing a short paper to explain something it usually takes me of the order of days; a long paper of the order of weeks. People just aren't going to write personal tutorials here that involve more than a few minutes of typing.

I am not sorry to be candid, because you will only be disappointed if you ask impractical questions. Feel free to ask specific questions, and look around in the forum to see what kinds of questions get answered.

If I am misunderstanding what you want, that's good news.
