  • Truncating survival graphs

    Dear all,

Judging by my searching this question has been posed before, but it has been some years (and Stata versions) ago so I am hoping there is an easier answer.
I have a simple survival graph generated by
    Code:
    sts graph, by(v4)
On the far right of the graph, most subjects have fallen out such that the numbers at risk are very small and a couple of events lead to unsightly precipitous drops in the two curves.
I am looking for a way to truncate the graph before this point.

    Many thanks!

    Nikos

Looking at help sts graph suggests the tmax option may be what you need.

It is indeed. How embarrassing - I should have RTFM better. Many thanks - I greatly appreciate your prompt response.
