Factor analysis and weights

Is there anyway to use pweight or svy in factor analysis? And does anybody know why pweight is not possible when aweight is?
My factor command in Stata:

factor IC08Q01-IC10Q09 if land_alle==1 [aweight= W_FSTUWT] // KMO: 0.8813
factor IC08Q01-IC10Q09 if land_alle==1 // KMO: 0.8810

Now that the U.S. experts in this area have enjoyed a richly deserved holiday weekend off, I thought I would bump the question since I am interested in it too. If you are using survey data with a non-estimation command like factor, should you use aweights?
