I am trying to find a way to calculate mean and median differences and their 95%CI for non-parametric, Likert scale survey data. I have used the bpdifmed command (which uses the Bonnet-Price method to estimate CI).
Is there a way to get the median difference and 95% CI using -ranksum-
Additionally for -ttest- I am struggling to find what statistical method is used to calculate the mean difference and 95%CI reported for this command, I could not find any information in the PDF for ttest.
Any help would be appreciated.
