When importing data from excel all numbers are in red

hey everyone sry for bad english, i have some trouble with stata 12. when i import an excel document the numbers are in red, and i cant work with them. i tried this: destring, replace. some columns has gone black but 2 of them are still in red and can`t do anything. tried to tostring and some other things i read and it says weights not allowed. can anyone please help me?

As you might have already read in the FAQ, you should re-post your query to the General forum, as this one is conceived for questions about how to use the forum(s) only.
That said, your variables are in red because Stata reads them as being in -string- and not in numeric format.
You should take a look at -destring- and see if you can fix your problem with its help.
Otherwise, you can take a look at -import-.
