What are the Code delimiters

I tried putting my code between # ..... # but it doesn't work. i'm not sure if i'm doing it right. and yes i've read the FAQ

Click on the A icon. Click on the # icon. Code delimiters will appear in the edit window. Don't type literal #, which doesn't have a special meaning here.

As you've read the FAQ, please let the administrators know of a full real name (given name(s) and family name).

You can open the advanced editor by clicking on the button with the underlined A

And then you get the code delimiters by pressing the button with the #:

Nick Cox thnx. That's actually my real first name, i used the First letters of my family name. And yet i send a message to the administrators with my full name and i didn't receive a response.
