You have two different posts outstanding on the same topic: your problems getting nlsur to run. What the posts have in common is incomplete or incorrectly copied diagnostic information.

Please review the Statalist FAQ linked to from the top of the page, as well as from the Advice on Posting link on the page you used to create your post. See especially sections 9-12 on how to best pose your question. It's particularly helpful to copy commands and output from your Stata Results window and paste them into your Statalist post using CODE delimiters, as described in section 12 of the FAQ.

In this post, you show us code to create the program nlsurquaids13 and code that runs nlsur using nlsurquaids13, but you show us an error message about nlsuraids13 and the title of your post refers to nlsuraids13.

In your other post you present the error message
    Code:
    nlsurnlsurquaidsNPS@ returned 199
(copied from your post, which did not use CODE delimiters, and pasted here using CODE delimiters to clarify what you posted) and when it is suggested that you need to leave a space before and after the @ you respond that there is one, which is not what you presented.
