Undo Stata update

Hi Stata Users,

I have Stata 14.1, and just obtained Stata updates (Current update level is 01 Dec 2015). Does anyone know how I can "undo" the updates? Is there any way I can overwrite the updates with the previous level (Stata 14.1 base 29oct2015)? The new updates have glitches and broke my codes that worked...

Building on what Nick said, examples of your code that is now not functioning as you expected would also be fairly helpful.

If it is regarding the same issue of the macro extended function dir you reported to tech support, a second reply with a work around was emailed out this morning. You should receive it within half an hour if it is not already in your inbox. Please check to see if it fixes your problem.

If it is a different problem, please give an example as Nick and Bill suggested.
