Hi, I have a problem with using xtsur.
xtsur cannot have any factor variables?
I ran xtsur with an unbalanced panel data (long) and got this error.
xtsur (y1 x1 x2 x3 i.x4) (y2 x1 x2 x3 i.x4)
"factor variables not allowed"

if I removed "i.x4" from the line, I could get the result but including x4 is important of me.
Out of the curiosity, however, sureg works with factor variables here, I still have same data format (long) though.
sur (y1 x1 x2 x3 i.x4) (y2 x1 x2 x3 i.x4)
Does anyone have any idea to solve this issue?
