Weight Matrix by the Distance the Neighbors

Hello researchers,
I would like to generate a weight matrix referenced by the distance between the neighbors, which STATA's commands can I use?
I work with the STATA 12 and the STATA 14.
I've used the commands: spmat (for import of GeoDa's weight matrix (queen): spmat import myobj using municipios_2010_rainha.gal, geoda) and spwmatrix (to create a matrix (S) using: spwmatrix gal using municipios_2010_torre.gal, wname(S) rowstand).
I read about the nearstat command (nearstat _ X _ Y, near (_ X _ Y) distvar (distmetro)), but I don't know if that's ideal for this.
Could pass the programation to generate an matrix of weight by the distance between the neighbors?

If you can illustrate and explain what data you currently have, and within what program you want to use the weight matrix, that would help. (It's my impression that different programs might want different weight matrix formats.)
