command line repositioning

Good evening, i have managed to move the command window so that it is at the bottom of all the windows, and covers part of the results window , i would like the command window to go back to the original settings, but cant find out how to move it ot reset it backk to the normal layout, can anyine help, thanks

on my Mac (you don't say what you are using), I click on Stata top left) --> preferences --> manage preferences --> and reset to either a saved set of preferences or to "factory" defaults

We can't tell what your original settings were, or what you regard as normal, as Stata offers various defaults. But use the menu

Edit > Preferences > Load preference set

and proceed from there.
