  • Allocating certain respondents to certain class in latent class model

    Hi All,

    I'm now trying to do some analysis using stata for a confirmatory latent class model I'm thinking of.

    I'm using SC data for my analysis, and I'm trying to use 'lclogit' for this problem, but i will be glad to use any alternative.

    For example:

    What i want to do is to make certain respondents(distinguished by variable 'pid') to be allocated in certain classes (as a priori constraint)

    To be clear, if the respondents can be divided into 2 groups(group A and B) depending on their responses(raw data), i want to make all members of Group A to be allocated in a certain class

    what i saw was i could use 'constraint' option for this program(lclogit), however it seems that only coefficient control is available.
