  • A stochastic frontier model with correction for sample selection in Stata

    Dear Statalist,

I am working on a stochastic frontier analysis to analyze technical efficiency and identify source of inefficiency. But I would like to include sample selection equation in line of William Greene paper Journal of Productivity Analysis (2010) 34:15–24. DOI 10.1007/s11123-009-0159-1

I am aware that Stata has a built in command to estimate normal stochastic frontier model but I do not think it can handle additional sample selection equation to correct for selection bias.

So how can I go about it?

    Any help would be appreciated

    Kind regards,

            Hi all
I am also facing the same problem. I want to analyze stochastic frontier with selection bias in stata software. Please share with me, If any of you have an idea. Thank you
