Thanks to Kit Baum the program loevh2 has been updated on SSC.
loevh2 calculates Loevinger's H coefficient of homogeneity (Loevinger, 1947) for two dichotomous (0/1) variables. It provides standard errors, z-statistics, p-values, and confidence intervals for the H coefficient. H can can be used as a measure of overlap of the cells 1/1 of a 2Ć2 table of two positively correlated dichotomous items without being affected by their probability which is especially useful when comparing this association measure across groups (see also Yule, 1912).
The program loevh2_boot (within the package) provides bootstrap confidence intervals for Loevinger's H, which may be more robust when sample sizes are small or asymptotic assumptions are not met. The updated bootstrap now provides bias-corrected and accelerated (BCa) confidence intervals, adjusting for systematic bias in the sampling distribution of H and for non-constant variance and and skewness.
The program descriptions in the help files have been improved and contain additional references.
