Hi all, I love STATA but discovered a small frustrating glitch / bug in the GUI and have a workaround
I am on Mac OSX 15.3.1
In the data browser if the column corresponding to a variable is quite large, I cannot resize it by grabbing the right end of the field if the right end is flush with the side panel
I have to select the column, use my cursor error to select the column to the right, which moves it to the next 'screen" / page
then I have to grab the /left/ end of that column and drag it **over** past the farthest left end of the column, as if by magic
then when I use the direction error to go back the oversized column has been narrowed to its smallest size
and now I can grab the right side of the top of the column window and resize it normally
here is a screen video.
Note right at beginning how the column is very wide - and the cursor in right has nothing to grab onto to resize it
