Hello Stata users.
I am using Grmap to draw a choropleth map of some numerical variables using shapefiles of a continent.
In case of enclaves (e.g. Lesotho surrounded by South Africa, or San Marino surrounded by Italy), the enclave takes the colour of the surrounding country IF the value of the variable for the latter country is higher; However it keeps its correct colour IF its own value is higher.
Any suggestions to correct the first instance? It should not be an issue connected with the shapefile, since in the second instance it works correctly.
I have also tried to modify the order of the countries in the shapefile, so that the enclave follows the surrounding country, but it does not make any difference.
I am using Stata 18 on a windows PC.
Thanks a lot for any help.
Marco
