Dear all,
i am using "medeff" command to test whether there is causal mediation effect.
my command is : medeff (regress m t x)(regress y t m x), mediate (m) treat(t) sims(1000)
the results i got are like:
Effect Mean [95% Conf. Interval]
ACME -.0299609 -.0737738 .0108401
Direct Effect .7081524 .3663922 1.064999
Total Effect .6781915 .3316459 1.039999
% of Tot Eff mediated -.0442613 -.0903402 -.0288087
i am wondering why i cannot get ACME1, ACME0, Direct Effect 1 and Direct Effect 0 respectively, as shown in guided book using the same command:
Effect Mean [95% Conf. Interval]
ACME1 .0624004 .0410497 .0888912
ACME0 .0624004 .0410497 .0888912
Direct Effect 1 .2638839 .17911 .351345
Direct Effect 0 .2638839 .17911 .351345
Total Effect .3262843 .2238124 .4363766
how to solve this problem? thanks a lot!
