  • Different type of respondents receive different equipment alternatives in a Choice Experiment

My respondents include those who make dried fish, smoked fish, and fermented fish.

Equipment is one of the attributes in the choice set. The equipment shown to respondents is unique to the type of fish processed.

Ex. For fish dryers - either 1) Solar cabinet 2) TUnner dryer
smoked fish - either 1) Drum smoke 2) Automatic smoker
fermented fish - either 1) Mechanical bottler 2) Vacuumbottler

The rest of the attributes in the choice sets are the same for all fish processors.

My question is can I fit only one model for the respondent types? OR should fit separate models for each type of fish processor?

    Thanks!
