Negative mean value for MCA generated index

Hello everyone,

I have created an index using mca var1 var2 var3 var4 to var27.. var1 to var 27 are binary of 1 and 0

then predict index.


The problem is, that the mean of the new variable index is negative. Which is not intuitive.

Any idea why it is so?
