Hi all,
I'm doing a meta-analysis and have an issue with the forrest plot. When calculating the mean and confidence interval of the data with the code "ci means meangrowthratemm2year" with meansgrowthratemm2year being the effect size I get a different mean and confidence interval (~1.29 95% CI 0.75-1.83) then when I plot this data in a forrest plot with the code " meta forestplot, random(reml)" with Effect-size label: Effect size; Effect size: meangrowthratemm2year; Std. err.: se; Study label: author. The mean and confidence interval in the forrest plot is 1.00 95% CI 0.77-1.23. I don't understand why this happens or how I can fix it to get the same mean and CI. Could someone please help me?
Thank you!
