Stata includes an undocumented built-in command projmanager (documented here).
In a discussion with a colleague I've learned that he experienced an issue with it that looks like a bug to us and the behavior seems identical in both v17 and v18: when trying to submit a command projmanager with the option replace, Stata responds with the error r(101) options not allowed.
Since projmanager is a built-in command, it's not easy to see how the syntax for it is declared, but it appears that the error message we are getting contradicts the documentation.
